Wall material changes the method

Access, water and restoration
Interior work requires clearing the area and may involve removing finished walls, insulation and flooring to expose the foundation. Exterior work requires excavation, which brings in soil handling, depth, safe excavation practice, and whatever sits in the way — decks, porches, walks, plantings, utilities or a property line close to the wall.
