What basement and foundation services do you provide?

We handle basement waterproofing, interior drainage, exterior foundation waterproofing, sump pumps and backup systems, crack repair, bowing-wall stabilization, settlement and pier repair, stone and block foundations, crawlspace encapsulation and structural repair, window wells, grading, drainage, dehumidification and moisture-control projects.

How do you determine the right basement waterproofing repair?

We inspect the wet area, foundation, exterior grade, window wells, drains and sump system. Your estimate lists the recommended work, materials, discharge location, price and any finish work that is included.

Is interior drainage or exterior waterproofing better?

It depends on the home. Exterior waterproofing is useful when the outside wall needs repair or excavation is practical. Interior drainage is often less disruptive and works well for groundwater and wall-floor seepage. We explain the advantages, limitations and cost of the options that fit your property.

Can you repair old stone and block foundations?

Yes. Depending on condition, work may include compatible repointing, parging, block-joint repair, localized rebuilding, reinforcement, drainage and waterproofing. Loose, bulging or displaced walls need structural evaluation before a cosmetic coating is applied.

What foundation cracks should be inspected quickly?

Horizontal cracks, stair-step cracks, widening cracks, visible displacement and cracks in a bowed wall should be inspected promptly. A stable vertical crack in poured concrete may only need a focused leak repair, but it still needs to be seen before the method is chosen.

Do you install sump pumps with battery backup?

Yes. We install and replace sump basins, primary pumps, secondary pumps, battery or water-powered backup systems, check valves, high-water alarms and exterior discharge piping.

What towns do you serve?

We serve Burlington, South Burlington, Winooski, Colchester, Essex, Essex Junction, Williston, Shelburne, Charlotte, Hinesburg, Milton, Richmond, Westford, Jericho, Underhill, Cambridge, Jeffersonville and Fairfax, plus nearby properties depending on the work required.

What happens after I request an inspection?

We contact you about the property, the work you need and scheduling. After the inspection, you receive the recommended scope and price before deciding whether to move forward.
