Who provides the estimate and work
The company responsible for the property visit, estimate, contract, work and warranty is identified before you approve service. That company may be an independent participating business rather than an employee or branch of Champlain Valley Basement & Foundation.
Professional responsibility
The company named on the estimate or contract is responsible for its inspection, recommendations, registrations or licenses, insurance, employees or subcontractors, work, safety, warranty and customer service. Review that company's written information before authorizing work.
How your request is used
When you submit the online form, you authorize Champlain Valley Basement & Foundation to share your contact information, service address and project details with a participating local company selected to respond to the request.
Commercial relationship
Champlain Valley Basement & Foundation may receive compensation from a participating company for marketing or administrative services. You do not owe Champlain Valley Basement & Foundation a separate fee unless one is clearly disclosed in writing.
Property-specific conclusions
Website articles and forms provide general information, not a structural, engineering, environmental, insurance or legal conclusion about a property. The responsible professional and written agreement determine the recommended work, price, schedule and warranty.
Questions
If the responding company's identity or responsibility is unclear, ask for clarification before the inspection or contract. You can send that question through the online request form without purchasing service.
